Perrysburg sweeps St. Francis 48-34

 

 Nick Moschetti scored 17 points to lead the Yellow Jackets to a 48-34 victory over St. Francis de Sales on Friday night in their season opener. Bryant Byrd scored nine points and Nate Patterson added seven. Perrysburg finished 14 for 23 on free throws and led 22-20 at the half, but scored 23 points in the fourth quarter.

Perrysburg girls beat Southview 55-32

 

 Sarah Baer led a well-balanced scoring attack to lead the girls basketball team to a 55-32 victory on Friday night over Southview. Allex Brown added nine points and Lindy DeLong scored seven. The Yellow Jackets (2-0) shut out the Cougars in the first quarter to build an 11-point lead before expanding on it to lead 24-11 at the break.
