Hey! I’m Clara Burkin and I’m a junior in my third year on the eSomethin staff. I’m also a member of PHS’ student council and I’m the current historian of PHS’ Drama Club. Somethin’ I do outside of school is being a Toledo Zooteen and I do community theater. I enjoy spending time with my friends, and one day I hope to own a bakery. I can’t wait to report on all the fun we are going to have this year!
Hey there! I’m Ari Collins, a sophomore at Perrysburg High School. I’m returning for my second year as a member of eSomethin, and I can’t wait to help deliver all the PHS news again! I’m a member of the French Club and Art Club. Outside of school, I devote a lot of my time to writing, but I also love reading, listening to music, and obsessing over Edgar Allan Poe. Some of my other interests include soup, skirts, and sonnets. I also enjoy the art of alliteration.

In school I really enjoy both English and History classes, as well as being a member of Writer’s Block. I am also on the varsity gymnastics team at PHS and am a member of Link Crew, a group designed to help freshman with starting high school! I am also an executive officer for the National Honors Society! Writing is one of my passions and I will be pursuing a career in journalism! Hey, my name is Lydia Reiter and I’m a junior at Perrysburg High School. This is my second year as a reporter for eSomethin. Besides that, I’m a returning letterman on the cross country and track teams, secretary of my class, president of Key club, in French club, and a part of Link Crew. I love working out at my local CrossFit gym, spending time with friends and family, traveling, playing with my labradoodle, Maxwell, and working on a kindness initiative called Bee Kind. Hopeful for a normal year of safe, healthy, and fun reporting!

Hey, Kennedy Rowley is back and this senior is ready to report on somethin’ new! This is my fourth year in eSomethin’ and my 2nd year as Co-Editor-in-Chief! Outside of eSomethin’ I am also super involved in the school. I am on the varsity rowing team, the Vice President of the Environmental Club, a Link Crew leader, a member of the French Club exec board, DECA, Project Invent, NHS, Pride Club, and Drama Club. When I am not at school I’m either volunteering through the ZooTeen program or with my friends. This year I will also be serving a one-year term on The City of Perrysburg’s Litter Prevention and Recycling committee. Hello, everyone! My name is Matthew Rutherford and I’m back at it again for round two on the eSomethin team, and it sure will be somethin! I am currently a junior at PHS and still have only had to take semester exams once in my life! I am the sousaphone section leader for PHS’ marching Yellow Jackets along with being a proud member of the Toledo ZooTeen program! This school year is still full of unknowns, but one thing is for sure . . . if there’s a great story out there, I will be on top of it!
Hi! My name is Riya Shah and I am a sophomore at PHS. This is my first year on the eSomethin team and I can’t be more excited! I play tennis for the Perrysburg Tennis Team during the fall and at the Perrysburg Tennis Center year-round. I am also a member of the student council here at the high school. Hi! My name is Ainsley Sutter and I’m returning for my fourth and final year on the eSomethin’ staff, where I will be continuing my role as Co-Editor-in-Chief for the second year. Another activity I am returning to for a second year is DECA, where I am on the leadership council for the ‘21-’22 school year. Additionally, I am fulfilling my role as a member of PHS’ student council for the fourth year, where I have been elected as senior class president! Outside of school, I work at American Eagle, where I have been selected to be apart of the #MyAEAmbassador program which allows me to grow my social media presence! Yo! I am Nathan Wolaver, a sophomore at Perrysburg High School, and this is my first year doing eSomethin. I enjoy watching TV. My favorite shows are “Attack on Titan” and “Parasyte.” Other times, I play “Call of Duty” and “Skate 3”, and draw, all while listening to rap and hip hop.
