eSomethin Staff 2017-2018

Omid Azizi, Student Culture Editor

Omid Azizi

I’m Omid Azizi, back for another year of Cellar! I am now a senior at Perrysburg High school, and am looking forward to another year with the family. I’m still the same old kid that endlessly writes songs & plays hip-hop music at obnoxious volumes until the sun comes back out… Anyway, anything music and video are my thing! I hope to set a good example for the grades below me and continue to grow alongside my peers.

 Jillian Craig

I am Jillian Craig and I am a senior this year. This is my first and only year in the Cellar due to scheduling conflicts in the past. I participate in various clubs including Mock Trial, Symphony Orchestra, and the Women’s Rugby club. Something interesting about me is that I have been doing Crossfit training for almost a year now; I commit to at least 2 hours of training every day- once at 5am and once at 5pm. I am looking forward to improving my writing and reporting skills as I am going to pursue an education in broadcasting after graduation.

I was recommended to apply by my old English teacher, Mrs. Wagener. I’m from Kent, Ohio, which is forty minutes past Cleveland, Ohio. However I am originally from Oregon, Ohio. I moved when I was four-years-old to Kent and then moved back ten years later.. My future intentions are to work in the emergency room and specialized in something, I just am not quite sure yet. That is a little somethin about me.

 Zachary Isaacson, Video Desk Editor

Zach Isaacson

Hello! I’m Zachary Isaacson. I am a sophomore and this is my second year working for eSomethin’. Over the past two years, I have taken an interest in producing electronic music. I have a passion for cinematic filmography and love to shoot/edit my own videos. The reason I love The Cellar so much is because I have creative freedom.  Any day, I can go and write an article about the latest pep rally or create the most ambitious video project I’ve ever attempted to make.

Ricardo Perez Hernandez

Ricardo Perez Hernandez

Hi, I’m Ricardo a new junior student here at Perrysburg High School. I recently moved from Puerto Rico to Ohio after two devastating hurricanes hit us in September and left a lot of damage. I was studying in a school that specialized in radio and TV, where we filmed, created TV dialogues, and other cool stuff. In my free time, I like to play video games, watch movies and videos and play sports for fun. My favorite sports to play are table tennis, swimming, and basketball. I look forward to this new experience, which I know I’m going to love. I’m going to enjoy this new opportunity that’s been given to me.
