Midnight Madness brought the Jacket faithful to the high school gymnasium on Friday, Nov 22, to start the 2019-2020 season.
Players expressed optimism about the year ahead.
“This is a really good team. We have a lot of talent and have played together for a really long time, so we should be pretty good,” said Morgan Featherstun, a junior player.
Lydia Knowlton said she is excited for all the chemistry of the team.
Emilio Navarro, a senior on the boys team, said that he’s “looking for a great season with nothing but dubs,” an expression short for Ws, or wins.
“Our top priority is the NLL championship,” said Jackson Sizemore, a senior starter on the varsity boys team. He also suggested the team could go further in competition.
Both teams continue their journeys tomorrow night in away games.
