Former Army officer teaching at PHS
By Rachael Brandel
Erin Nazario is one of the many new teachers staffed here at Perrysburg High School. She teaches psychology and global studies. She attended Miami University, double majoring in international studies and political sciences, and minoring in French.
Previously, Ms. Nazario served in the Army for three years. I gave her a few fun questions to get to know her, here was our Q & A.
RB: If you were a salad topping, what would you be and why?
EN: If I were a salad topping, I would be… hmm.. probably a hot pepper, because I like to surprise people and keep them on their toes.
RB: Who was your boy band crush in high school?
EN: Any of the members from New Kids on the Block.
RB: What did you do in the Army?
EN: I was a Logistics Officer.
According to Army.com logistics officers keep units moving. They plan, develop, and direct logistical operations of a unit. Officers have experience in integrating functions of the supply, transportation, maintenance, aviation logistics, and medical services in the unit.
RB: If you could trade lives with anybody in the world, who would it be and why?
EN: I wouldn’t trade my life for anything. I have my job, my kids, and I am perfectly happy with being Ms. Nazario.
Ms. Nazario keeps her class entertained, interested, and invested in class. You never know what to expect when you walk through the door, which never allows students to be bored in class. She gives you the information you need to know, and makes sure you remember it.
