I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!
Saturday was the opening day for Perrysburg’s beloved ice cream shop. Mr. Freeze opened at 11 a.m., but the Haar family, residents of Perrysburg, were the first people in line at 10 a.m.
Even on a record cold day of -8 degrees, people were still waiting in line for ice cream.
Mr. Freeze has been a prize of Perrysburg for a little more than 40 years. They have even expanded into Sylvania.
Around 2 p.m. Mr. Freeze had a swarm of people waiting. Goes to show people really do love their ice cream!
Mr. Freeze usually opens within the first week of March, but this year they decided to open a bit earlier –thankfully.
